AP students need your help! Right now, LHHS is having a spirit wear fundraiser to cover the costs of exams.
Over 900 students at Lake Highlands are in AP classes this year, and there’s 1,636 exams being taken in total. The normal price for each exam is $72. According to Kathryn Martini, the AP testing coordinator, students with free and reduced lunch pay $39, and AVID students pay $40.
These prices are expensive enough on their own, but for students taking multiple exams, that cost can quickly skyrocket. Luckily, the fundraiser will use the money spent on spirit wear for students who may be unable to pay for their exams. Not only will you be supporting your classmates, you’ll also get to sport some stylish LHHS merch.
