One of my fashion icks is when people wear a purse and a backpack together. I have one question for these people: Why?
You have a backpack and you have a purse, but why wear both at the same time? It makes everything look bulky and weird. Choose one and stick to it! However, I’m definitely more biased towards purses.
Purses are a total game-changer and backpacks are basic, boring, and bland. You’ve probably seen bags all around the school such as Coach, Kate Spade, and totes. I think purses are trending, especially among seniors, and I’m honestly so jealous of everyone who wears these.
As appealing as they are, purses aren’t the most practical thing in the world. It gets heavy holding your purse on your shoulder and may make your posture look bad if you carry it for too long, but think about the positives. They’re cute, and some of them have little pockets for little things, like make-up or accessories!
Pretty, lightweight, and compact, the A New Day bag from Target is probably the best out there. The bag isn’t too expensive either. It’s only $25. My second favorite would be the TSW Wavy Crochet Tote. This bag exudes a luxurious and boundless feel and starts at a fair price of $153.
If totes and handbags aren’t your thing, that’s no problem. So here are the best backpacks to have in my opinion.
The Patagonia Refugio Daypack 26L is the best and cutest backpack I could find. It’s spacious and has not one but two water bottle holders on both sides! What a steal! Its starting price is $109 from Patagonia. If you’re looking for a sleeker design, the Herschel Classic Backpack XL will give you a run for your money, and it’s starting price is $65.
I think you guys should buy whatever bag you wanna buy, just steer clear of bringing both to school.
