The Grammys have returned, and a Lake Highlands’ Alumni won BIG. Annie Clark, whose stage name is “St. Vincent”, won for the categories Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Song, and Best Alternative Music Performance.
Clark is a LHHS graduate of 2001, and is best known in the rock and alternative world, especially for her exceptional guitar playing.
Her Album that won her the awards, All Born Screaming, exhibits just how exceptional Clark is.
The Record is funky, fun, alternative, and her talent for music as a whole SHOWS.
In her acceptance speech Clark thanked her Wife and Daughter, as well as the individuals involved in her music.
Lake Highlands’ very own “St. Vincent” is KILLING IT in the music industry, and us Wildcats are bursting with pride!
