The top ten students have finally been announced for the 2025 seniors with Valedictorian Connor Reed and Salutatorian Camilia Enderli achieving the top status.
Reed has been accepted into SMU and is receiving a scholarship to play trumpet in the Mustang band. He will be double majoring in mathematics and economics in the University Honors Program.
While Enderli is unsure where she will be attending college, she chooses to major in architecture.
In order to score above and beyond, they both maintain strategies and methods to keep their grades up semester-round.
“The thing that helped me the most was staying on top of assignments and planning out a schedule to get everything done well before the due date,” Reed said. “I think that my approach helped to put in my best work, knowing that I wasn’t in a time crunch and allowed me to give every idea the consideration it deserved.”
Enderli, the salutatorian, prioritizes her work and stays on track throughout the year.
“It takes hard work and dedication towards learning. Without the motivation or want to do well at school, it’s hard to push back the feeling of procrastination,” says Enderli.
Enderli says getting into college was less stressful because of her rank.
“One of the benefits would be being automatically accepted into Texas Universities which makes the college process a little less stressful,” Enderli comments.
Reed attributes his success partially to his teachers and educators who have paved the way for his learning behaviors.
“I’m grateful for the outstanding education my teachers have provided day in and day out.”
He also congratulated his strong minded peers who continue to push forward alongside him as some of the highest performing students at the school.
“I also want to congratulate the rest of the top ten, who I know have similarly prioritized their academics.”
