Out with the old and in with the new! Cesar Guerra (11) and Enrique Ayala (11) made the decision to start fresh with a new business, called Yvesil.
“I am focusing more on smaller goals than bigger, more time consuming goals,” Guerra mentioned.
Back in November, Guerra started a clothing brand called Denton. Since then he has been working with his partner, Ayala on making a profit.
This time around Ayala was more involved in the process, saying that “two heads is better than one.”
The shirts are sold through Instagram through the page @yvesil.usa unlike the website they previously had.
“Denton had a website but we found it more successful to just make people pre order and we get their names and size, so by the time we have our final orders we get them and hand deliver them,” Ayala adds
Because of the changes Yvesil was more successful than Denton. They lost less money, sold 50 shirts, and are on the road to break even.
“This rebrand has been an improvement in so many ways: first we had way more sales, more people knew about it and showed love, and lastly we saw overall progress made during this one,” Ayala explained.
Yvesil’s latest drop was a shirt in two colorways, they plan to release more clothing pieces, as well as possibly making bracelets.
A customer of Guerra’s, Daniel Nevarez Puebla (11), says that he “likes his ideas on the clothes and the way it feels on body.”
