It has been a lifelong dream of senior Reeves Hardt to play college baseball, and he will get to fulfill that at Oklahoma Baptist University.
Hardt is an all-district pitcher with a fastball in the upper 80s and will bring an electric arm to the Bison pitching staff in the spring of next year.
“Playing college baseball has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and knowing that it’s finally becoming real is something I’m very grateful for,” Hardt said.
Hardt is looking forward to pitching in college but is also excited for his senior season and the opportunities that it brings.
“My goal for this year is to become a role model for the younger guys,” Hardt stated. “Whether that’s contributing on the field, in the weight room, or as a teammate.”
Andy Parker has been the head coach of Lake Highlands baseball for over a decade and sees the incredible leadership that Hardt has shown.
“Reeves has been an incredible player and teammate. He has shown up everyday striving to get better and also gets the best out of his teammates,” Parker mentioned.
