After tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus, captain Lizzy Kellam, 12, said that it was a struggle to “get back in the groove of things” although she wouldn’t change a thing about this season.

Kellam said one memorable moment would be winning bi-district champions.

“It was a hard-fought game; we pulled through with the win,” Kellam said.

“#EveryONEmatters” was the motto for the season. Kate Duffield, 10, explained that this motto means that every rep (practice), every teammate, and every game matters.

Duffield was chosen to become a captain this year and mentioned that “it was difficult to learn how to be a leader for my team.”

Aaliyah Taylor, 11, when commenting about things she wished she did differently
